This Bisquick peach cobbler is easy and delicious - all wrapped up in one!
I was asked by my sister to come up with an easy cobbler recipe for her son’s wedding rehearsal dinner and I found this Bisquick peach cobbler. This one absolutely fits the bill – four ingredients and less than an hour from the time you open the cans of peaches (and I used a manual can opener!) to the time you take it out of the oven. It is delicious, too.
Cobbler – the quintessential southern dessert. Dump cake – a not-so-flattering name for a delicious dessert. This recipe fits in both categories. The only thing missing when I made my trial run for the rehearsal dinner was a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Make one and see what you think!I found this recipe here via Pinterest. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Cover with the dry cake mix and press down firmly.
Cut butter into small pieces and place on top of cake mix.
Sprinkle top with cinnamon (I took the “to taste” literally – I LOVE cinnamon!).
Bake at 375 degrees F for 45 minutes.
I promise the cobbler isn’t burnt – it is the cinnamon “to taste”!
